 Work List before relaunch

I have actually received a nice amount of people still interested in the world which I found to be enough to start work on the server and maybe get it back up, heres a work list of what needs to be done before relaunching for sure.

Whats been done-
Aug 26, Hak paks added... possibly adjusted in the future.
Aug 27, XP adjusted, Death System overhaul redone, More loot.

Needs to be done-
Death System overhaul--I was being WAY to brutal, and I admit that now... NWN had been spoiled for me at that point and I think I was taking it out on others when I shouldnt have been.

More LOOT-- yes you heard me more and better loot, +1 weapons and the whole bit.... just to make it fair. the monsters should die MUCH easier..

More XP-- Yep, increasing that to atleast 50% more than it currently is...

More Shops and Hang outs-- Yeah, and placed better too... possibly a vampire tunnel system underwater or some such as well.

Vampire tunnel system?--Yeah... exactly.

More placeables to bring the city more to life-- Just as stated.

Random NPC clothing?

Random Quest system--- this one i've wanted for awhile and will need to be adjusted to make it fit properly, cant have a dwarf give a quest to go find mithril.

Possible HAK packs.... this one i'm debating and really wanting to go for.... Im gonna have to attempt to find a host for it... most likely pay for it as well.

Need to look over any current bugs and smash them.

(Angel's Additions)

*Map pins on the maps to indicate in any given area WHERE the transitions to other areas are and where those transitions lead TO (this will help)

*A quick-travel system (using the gondolas as a way to get from one part of Venice to another- I'm DYING to have this happen. I'll even... try to... learn scripting... GOD...)

*City markers!
-by this I mean I'm going to go through each damn transition and mark where they all are, where they lead to, and then put a sign there that will TELL you where you are and where you're going. I love the city and I love Venice, but omg... I'm a freakin' Storyteller and I can't find my way around worth a damn, even AFTER running through the city fifteen million times. (Yes, I suck. Hush.)



Anyhow if anyone has any comments feel free to share, I want to hear from you guys since you are the ones playing here.

I don't know for sure but I might be able to get my hands on a CPU that could be used to host. I'd need to know what the systems requirements would have to be.

What will the death system be like? As it is the raise dead and resurrection scrolls and spells are useless since we immediately go party with death without the option of waiting for help - unless I'm dying incorrectly.

It'd also be interesting to fight your way out of death like it said - im not sure if that's been added yet since I'm too chicken to try it, but that's pretty cool.

I also like there are no xp/gp penalties with respawning since my poor little tainted dies every five seconds - but that's probably going to be fixed in the future to make death more severe XD
